“In my creative process, works emerge in different ways. Some stem from research and documentation and are part of a long-term process. Others are more spontaneous, although in hindsight I realise that they explore similar issues. I am gradually trying to place greater trust in forms of intuition, both aesthetic and theoretical. If a common thread were to emerge, it would likely relate to the status of images and their temporality.”
